Klaus Iohannis

Klaus Iohannis (b. 1959) has been President of Romania since 2014, previously serving as mayor of Sibiu. Known for his pro-European stance, defense of the rule of law, and advocacy for civic institutions, his presidency has been deeply involved in Romania’s integration in the EU and judicial reform.
